This full-day trip takes you from Hurghada straight to the heart of Egypt’s capital to explore the legendary Giza Pyramids and the priceless treasures of the Egyptian Museum.

Full Trip Description

Your journey to the city of a thousand minarets begins with a very early morning pickup from your Hurghada hotel. Settle in for the journey in our comfortable, air-conditioned “Grand Bus” as we travel across the desert to Egypt’s bustling capital.

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by your professional Egyptologist guide, your expert storyteller for the day.

Your adventure is split between two world-famous locations:

1. The Egyptian Museum:

First, we step into a building holding over 120,000 priceless artifacts. Your guide will lead you through the highlights of ancient history, where you will come face-to-face with the solid gold mask and funeral treasures of the boy-king, Tutankhamun.

2. Lunch Break:

After a morning of history, we’ll refuel with an included meal (lunch) at a local restaurant.

3. The Giza Plateau:

Prepare to be awestruck. In the afternoon, we drive to the Giza Plateau, the moment you’ve seen in pictures all your life. You will:

• Stand at the foot of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the last surviving Wonder of the Ancient World.
• See all three major pyramids: Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure.
• Enjoy a panoramic photo stop overlooking the entire plateau.
• Drive down to the valley to stand before the enigmatic Great Sphinx and its adjoining Valley Temple.

After an incredible day of ticking off your bucket list, you’ll relax on the “Grand Bus” for the return journey, arriving back in Hurghada late in the evening with memories to last a lifetime.

Tour Highlights & Itinerary

• ~2:00 AM: Very early morning pickup from your hotel in Hurghada.
• ~8:30 AM: Arrive in Cairo and meet your expert Egyptologist guide.
• Morning: Guided tour of the world-famous Egyptian Museum.
• Mid-day: Enjoy an included Meal (lunch) at a local restaurant.
• Afternoon: Fully guided tour of the Giza Plateau, visiting the Pyramids and the Great Sphinx.
• ~4:00 PM: Depart from Giza to begin the return journey to Hurghada.
• ~10:00 PM: Arrive back at your hotel in Hurghada.
