Prepare for a journey back in time. Your day begins with a very early morning pickup from your Hurghada hotel for a comfortable journey in our air-conditioned “Grand Bus.” As you cross the Eastern Desert, watch the sunrise and see the dramatic landscape change as you approach the lush Nile Valley.

Upon arrival in Luxor, you will be met by your professional Egyptologist guide, your expert for the day who will bring the ancient stones to life.

Your epic tour covers the most famous sites in all of Egypt:

• The East Bank – Karnak Temple: Your first stop is the Temple of Karnak, the largest temple complex ever built. Walk through the awe-inspiring Great Hypostyle Hall, a forest of 134 colossal columns, and marvel at the obelisks and sacred lake dedicated to the god Amun.
• The West Bank – Land of the Dead: After a refreshing lunch at a local Egyptian restaurant, we cross the Nile to the West Bank.
• Valley of the Kings: The highlight of the day. Descend into the earth to explore the hidden, lavishly decorated tombs of the mighty pharaohs. Your ticket includes entry to three different royal tombs, where you’ll see original hieroglyphs and colorful scenes depicting the journey to the afterlife.
• Temple of Queen Hatshepsut: A stunning architectural marvel, this mortuary temple is carved directly into the face of a mountain cliff. Learn the story of Egypt’s most powerful female pharaoh.
• Colossi of Memnon: On our way out, we make a photo stop at these two massive, 18-meter-high stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. They have stood guard over the Theban necropolis for over 3,400 years.

After a day filled with wonder, you will relax on the comfortable “Grand Bus” for the return journey, arriving back at your Hurghada hotel in the late evening.
